Guinea took the lead in the 62nd minute with a goal by Ismaël Camara, following an Algerian defensive error. Despite a clear dominance, the Algerians were unable to capitalize on their opportunities. The equalizer came in the 88th minute courtesy of Sofiane Bayazid, who came on as a substitute. The tournament will take place in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda from August 2 to 30.
